Welcome to the Order
The Order of the Eclipse is a newly-formed Pagan Order with an emphasis on study, devotion, and dedication to our gods and our path. The Order was formed with Polytheists in mind, but those of all paths are accepted.
The Order is a friendly, loosely-run (and slightly chaotic) group. While we are all dedicated to our studies, the Order was formed as much to be a place to share our experiences and help one another with our studies.
The Order of the Eclipse is a work in progress - at the moment, it's in its beginnings, but we hope that it will grow. The spirit of the Order is about dedicated study, reverence of nature, and honouring the gods. The Order accepts all polytheists, regardless of how they interpret deity.
While not a true religious order, the Order of the Eclipse hopes to provide a sense of structure and a feeling of monasticism to those who seek to walk the Old Ways.
From time to time in our hectic lives, we might long for the peaceful, quiet retreat of a real monastery, where we can devote our time to studying and spirituality. That's not possible for us as Pagans, but what we can do is seek to bring that sense of monasticism into our lives.
Thus the purpose of the Order is threefold: Structure, study, and spirituality.

December 2008
The first members of the Order of the Eclipse are drawing nearer to their Dedicancies. At this point we feel more comfortable with the concept of the Order and hope that it will grow.
